Netanyahu says Iran and its proxies could attack to disrupt Israel's election
In a video released by his office on 25 October 2026, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cited intelligence signs of possible attacks by Iran and its allies around the election, and, according to SCMP, denied a reported confrontation with army chief Eyal Zamir.
